Overview This course provides healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to better recognize and treat critically ill infants and children. This highly interactive course uses case presentations and the simulation center to provide practical application of the required skills taught. The course covers treatment beyond the first few emergency minutes and goes through stabilizing patients or transport phases of a pediatric emergency, in or out of the hospital.

Prerequisites The current certification of Basic Life Support (BLS) is required for entry.
